About Us
Meet the CEO and Founder: Dr. Roma Patel
As a pageant titleholder of MS. New Jersey Petite '25, Miss South Asia World '23, Miss Next Top Model India NYFW '23, and a Clinical Geneticist by profession, I am the proud founder of my organization, Animare. My journey with Animare is deeply inspired by our mascot and my beloved golden retriever, Rani, whose unwavering love and joyful spirit reflect the very essence of this mission. Rani has been a constant reminder of the beauty and companionship animals bring into our lives.

I have carried a deep love for animals since my earliest memories. From the smallest pets to the grandest animals of the wild, they have always held a special place in my heart. Growing up, I was drawn to the wonder of wildlife and the unwavering companionship of animals. This connection, strengthened by Rani’s influence, inspired my life's mission: to give back to the animals that fill our world with beauty and joy.

The name Animare (pronounced: ah-nee-MAH-ray) is derived from the Italian word meaning "to enliven or animate." Ani, symbolizing animals, and re, meaning the ray of the sun, together represent a magical kingdom where animals live in peace and harmony, thriving under the warmth of the sun's protection. Animare embodies the vision of a world where every animal is respected, cherished, and allowed to flourish. It’s a reminder that just as the sun brings life to the earth, we too must bring life, compassion, and care to the animals around us.

Through Animare, we strive to make this vision a reality. By raising awareness, educating communities, and advocating for humane treatment, we can help create a brighter world for animals, where they are not only protected but celebrated as the essential, living beings they are. Together, with Rani as our guiding inspiration, we can bring the spirit of Animare to life—uniting people in the mission to ensure all animals, whether in the wild, in captivity, or as pets, are treated with dignity and love.

Meet Our Mascot:
Rani, the adorable and charismatic mascot of Animare, is a 3-year-old Golden Retriever with a heart as golden as her coat. As a friendly and compassionate service dog, Rani embodies the spirit of Animare—bringing light and love to every life she touches. Her calm demeanor, playful energy, and natural ability to connect with others make her the perfect ambassador for our mission to protect and care for all animals.

Whether she's enjoying the company of her furry friends, spreading smiles at events, or symbolizing hope in our campaigns, Rani reminds us all of the importance of love, care, and respect for every creature. She is more than just a mascot; she’s the heart of Animare and an inspiration to our community.
